If your right hand is the hand you use for your mouse, it could be a result of overuse, repetitive stress injury. Also, if you are Norwegian, there is a genetic problem that seems only to affect them, which has symptoms similar to what you describe. Try not using the mouse so much, using the Tab and arrow keys to navigate when possible. Or, if there are other things you do with your right hand that aggravate the pain, try to avoid them. It would be a good idea to have a doctor look at it, since it could be a nerve or connective tissue problem that requires medical intervention.

several things.. I get the same thing in my feet, ankles and legs especially at night. At night both feet curl and tighten..VERY painful.. Sounds like muscle spasms.. time to see a doc.. Could be nerve damage from...????? Name it..
