Got caught? I just lost someone I love because of this 3 nights ago. I denied it at first, but you cant deny if the person actually caught you. Then, I suck it in and just confess, tell him everything, hoping that he has it in his heart to somehow get past it and forgive me... What I did say was "I didnt really want to do it. I was in the mood, and he was just there. I am so sorry, it was the first time." which in fact, was the truth. I didnt want to do it, but the situation caused it to happen, and my love caught me on a surprise visit. My butt got what I deserved. The boot that hurted like heck! Life moves on. Its not worth it to cheat, even if you didnt mean to.

Deny, deny, deny would be my first, second, and third reaction. If that wasn't convincing, I'd tell him why it was something he had done to cause that to occur. If that wasn't convincing, I'd come clean. I know what works because I've been on the flip side multiple times with my ex and one time with him. He'd do and did the same things (which is more than my ex did).

How "caught" are you talking about? The explanation (not "excuss") has to be tailored to the circumstances.

I don't make excuses about such things. If I was in a relationship which was not serious I would make it known up front. If I was in a serious relationship ... the one I want forever ... then I would be the one to tell her I did it. She wouldn't have to catch me. Imagine how nice it would be to be with someone you can truly trust. I want to provide that.

cheaters make me want to puke. i would never do it. but ill tell you what i would do to my boyfriend if he cheated on me. id leave his ass and make him feel like the biggest piece of low life shit on his way out!

first, if things got that bad, I would divorce before destroying my own integrity. But hypothetically, if I got caught cheating, my excuse would be " i needed someone to keep me company while you were on AB" What would he do? LOL He would probably take my laptop from me before he threw me out on the street.

There's no excuse for that, so I wouldn't have one. That's why I'd never do that. But she'd start off with becoming very physical and end up making life miserable for the both of us for an indefinite period of time. Not good.
