  • No Not Your Boss
  • yes. It's certainly not inappropriate in my opinion, you could always just tell him/her that it's none of their business.
  • Depends on the relationship and the environment the question is asked in.
  • Probably depends on the kind of employee-boss relationship you have with him or her, and the culture/atmosphere in your workplace. I've had bosses who were my friends and bosses who I barely knew. Would have been fine with me in the former case, but weird in the latter. As a general rule of thumb, though, it's been my experience that it's best to talk about stuff like that outside of work, if at all.
  • I don't know, what was the conversation about surrounding that question? Was it just out of the blue? In most cases I think it would be inappropriate, but not at my job. My boss asks stupid stuff all of the time!
  • Hell no! (But, is he cute?)
  • No. But if you've been probably flirting around with him... then that's a whole other story.
  • depends on your relationship with your boss. My boss just told me she needs something to hold up her boobs, but we're cool like that here. If that kind of talk makes you feel uncomfortable then YES it's not cool for him to ask you that. But he is probably just making conversation and being nice. That's what people say....Is he cute. It's not weird like, "So are you going to have sex with him?"
  • My boss would prob ask me that... was it your male or female boss? B/c that makes a difference in my mind.
  • I wouldnt do it..
