  • Moderators are supposed to be neutral and to accept only justified flagging. I heard there was a former rule where you knew where gave you a downrate and all ended in a downrate war, downrated people trolling those who downrated them. So they changed they system. It would probably be the same with flagging.
  • Personally I would still flag questions even if the asker was informed of who had flagged them. After all, it's the staff who will act on them, not me.
  • If fewer people flagged questions, the staff wouldn't be able to keep up with the duplicates, spam, nonsense and offensive questions. To be informed of who flagged a question is not a good idea at all. If there are downrating wars, I'm sure many people would leave AB.
