Diabetes, many in my family chose to burn out their pancreases way too early by overeating, indulging in entire coconut cream pies at one sitting, living lives of anger and bitter resentments, and rarely getting off their half moons to get any exercise.

Autism, Asparagus, Downs ect. I know they are not proven to run in the family but I have a theory that they do (from experience working with people with these conditions) and am thankful EVERYDAY that they dont (yet).

I'm thankful that I didn't get the "I'm better than everyone else" gene that runs rampant in my family! A little bit of this gene is great, (it helps to keep people from running all over you). But, in massive amounts, like most of my family has, it just makes you a horses rear!

i'm the only child from my mom and dad. I have a brother and a sister with a different mom than me and I have another brother and sister with a different dad than me...also i have a step sister so i dont really share many genes with anyone in my family. I guess if I was going to say SOMETHING it would be, i'm glad that I dont have my mom's short legs....that's all I got.
