  • Yeah I think that would be great. While moderating, I encountered this question: "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah." But when I read the answers, they were quite sensible (I think the original question asked for relationship advice). So definitely, that feature would be good.
  • I think the little gray note is a good idea when the question has been rephrased to the extent that it's meaning has changed. I do notice that misspelled words are the most common form of question editing that occur and I don't think that spelling corrections should be "gray noted". What really puzzles me is that within several minutes of posting a question--sometimes you can't edit a question at all. The case in point for me is when my user name was misspelled in the question concerning me receiving congratulations for becoming a Sage. The poster was unable to correct it in a matter of minutes after posting it.
  • Sometimes, my edit is a typo fix or adding a link. I dont want everyone knowing I make mistakes. Just kidding. I think thats a good idea. That and they should just preview every answer, not give you a choice, it should be automatic.
  • That's a great idea, slothmister. I can't believe no one's thought of it before.
  • Nah... that's too telling. I just want to know what people want to project, so if that means omitting bad spelling or questionable matters, then let 'em.
