What's an s.o? My wife and I always at least exchange cards but we're going to celebrate it on the 15th because that's more convenient for both of us.

I would say yeah, because Valentine Day is about love.

I usually do something extra nice for my Boo. I think it just adds a positive reminder that I care about him, and I don't expect anything in return, but he usually does something nice for me as well.

My husband and I don't. Okay, so we sort of do. We head out the next day to raid good candy sales. :-D But it's a stupid invented holiday, and we do things to show each other that we love each other all the time. No need for expensive gifts and an artificially created time.

I always do, it is a special day for me as this was around the time when we first started to "advance our relationship". The first exchange of "I love you's" came on February 6th in a note from her in 11th grade, our first kiss was on february 8th, our first v-day we got gifts for each other was 6 days later, and we started dating officially March 13th 2000, been together ever since.

Not always. I have had a boyfriend on Valentine's Day in 2004 and I don't remember us making too much of a fuss over it. :)

No, some people don't care for that holiday, some are Jehovah's Witnesses, who don't celebrate any holidays, some are not "in love" with their partners anymore and don't want to celebrate a day dedicated to love. There are many people who don't celebrate Valentine's Day. Most people, even those without SO's do celebrate it because love is worth celebrating. :)
