Well It was itchy the first few times I shaved, but after that it will go away. It's probably the same for waxing.

Personally, I use aloe vera gel after I shave, after every shower and before bed. I have smooth, itch free skin as a result. If you can't find aloe vera gel in your local grocery store, look for it at a health food store.
