  • well if you have died your hair a lot, the color is going to have trouble staying in. you might just have to go with a darker color next time or just let it fade, i know when i do highlights and then dye over them, it takes a couple dye-jobs to cover the highlights totally.
  • You bleached it. Bleach cannot be reversed. Just use a dark dark chestnut brown and go to a professional. Their dyes are much better quality than the bottle.
  • Not all dyes can color over highlights. Clairol (home product) is one of the few that is designed to do this. Check out their website to see which product MIGHT work for you http://www.clairol.com Best bet, consult a colorist. Coloring over bleach blonde highlights at home is not for the inexperienced.
  • Let your hiar grow out and cut off the old colored hair inch by inch untill it is long enough to be all natural. No hair dye can come close to natural colors because of the chemicals in the dye. Dyes also fade because of several factors. 1. Sun light. 2. pollution. 3. chlorine in a pool. 4. improperly used dying procedures. 5. the natural oils in the hair folicles. (too much darker colors "not washing regularly" too little lighter colors "washing too much") 6. Washing your hair too soon after dying the color. 7. You did the job yourself instead of going to a proffesional. 8. you used a semi-permanant lv.1 or lv.2color instead of a permanent lv.3 color. You should wash your hair every 3 days to maximize the color retention. And use a hair care conditioner for colored or permed hair to retain the color longer. And diet, poor diets can cause color fading.
  • The only thing i can think of is either to bare with the gingery colour and let it grow out completely. Or, go to a hair dressers and get them to strip all of the colour out of your hair and dye it back your natural colour . Good luck =]
