Help answer this question below.

I have a 1988 Ford Ranger and it was running fine until I put it in the ditch last night.Someone told me it might be the fuel pump shut off but I don't know where the switch is to turn it back on.It just turns over just like it is getting no gas.

    the cutoff swith is in the passenger side foot bord.

    I think it's up by the pass kick panel. or if it's an extended cab, ck behind the driver's seat if it's not by the kick panel.

    I know on a 1989 ranger its under the passenger side floor mat.It pops out like a turkey thermometer you have to push it back in.
