Yes when I was 5 the first creepy movie i watch't was IT.... now I'm not scarred of clowns but I dont like them.. and for ventriloquist i think that they are alsome they have alot of talent....

Yes. I saw a comic the other day, a dad carrying a crying girl away from a clown, and she's saying something like "why WOULDN'T I be afraid of a guy with a honking nose and striped hair and giant shoes?"

I'm right with you. Clowns look like dead people. Ventriloquist dolls will sneak up on you in the middle of the night and cut your achilles tendon. (every single time). Since you brought it up. I feel that monkeys and ferris wheels are in the same category. I'll pee my pants if you take me to the circus.

The only ventriloqist I like is Jeff Dunham. I think he's very funny. I used to like clowns and would go to see Ringling Brothers circus every year until I: 1. Saw the movie and read the book "IT" by Stephen King. 2. Read a book about the serial killer John Wayne Gacy ("The Killer Clown"). He murdered 33 boys and men, 27 of which he buried in a crawl space under the floor of his house. He was known as "The Killer Clown" because he threw block parties and entertained kids dressed as a clown. Now, they totally creep me out!

It may fall under the clown category but mimes. They better stay away from me because just out of shear reaction my fist may go through that invisible box a into their eye.

I never used to think so, but there was a show on TV, called Trick or Treat, with a psychic illusionist called Derren Brown. In the show he tricked the guy into believing he was the dummy, it was so creepy.

Oh yes, clowns are definately creepy with a capital C. It's something about the whole fakeness... the colours... I dunno, but they're scary. P.S Johhny Depp suffers from phobia of clowns.

I don't think it's just the movies that make them seem creepy. I think that people who spend too long talking to themselves like that have to end up a little odd...
