The woman is usually the one noticed. It has alot with the way you carry yourself. I and my wife can be proud in grass sacks. But she does have a tan/green/maroon western style leather jacket with leather laces that there is no other like and people go crazy over it, so, it is there.

No I don't. I think going out for dinner is meant to be about enjoying fine food and good company ~ not putting on a fashion parade for the other patrons :)

Of course! I always want to look good for my date... just as much as I want him to look good for me. Going the extra mile for some one you care about can NEVER hurt. BUT at the same time, there is nothing sadder to me than seeing a beautiful women who takes care of herself with some slob. Gentlemen, PLEASE don't forget to do your part as well. We ladies need visual simulation as well. You know your hot.. show us!

I like when people put forth effort to look good, woman or man. I used to date a guy where I would attempt to look good. But he never did. And he was always such a slob. To a stranger, we may have looked like a spoiled slob who bought an escort.
