  • very carefully!
  • Obviously, very carefully. The best advice I can give is to try to focus the food to one side of your mouth to chew. Eating only non-solid food for a day or two is also a good idea. You will get used to eating with it as time goes on, just be careful not to bite down on the bar or anything. Your tongue is initially pierced with a longer barbell to allow for swelling, so once you have no more swelling, after about 2 weeks, you should try to put a shorter barbell in to make it easier to eat. Going back to the person who pierced your tongue to get it changed is a good idea. I'm pretty much all used to it and I've only had mine for 3 weeks.
  • My girlfriend says anything soft. Eggs, mashed potatoes, soup, pudding, jello. Things not to eat, don't drink anything with a straw (it will get inside the tongue stud) and noodles.
  • The same way you breathe with a pierced nose. You just do.
  • At first while it's swollen, lots of soft stuff, and soup is good if you can stand it for 3 days straight. The less you have to chew the better. Once the swelling goes down, it gets easier.
  • like any other person does. i do it everyday :)
