nope it doesnt hurt any more. some places pierce it with a gun, similar to the one they use on ears, and its over very quick.

For me, yes. Way more. But I have a sensitive nose and ears that are very used to having needles stuck in them.

I would not know, but I'd say it depends where in your ear your talking about. In the cartilage or in the ear lobe (usual place). Because the cartilage just between your ear lobe and your upper ear is WAY more painful than any piercing I ever got. And I got eleven piercings in total. In my eye brow, entire left ear and naval. Never got a nose piercing, but I bet it wouldn’t hurt at all if done professionally. It would feel like a pinch, feel warm for a moment and appear red. The healing would probably be the worst in amount of pain in comparison to the piercing thereof.

well, it depends in your pain intollerance. im a professional piercer and have been sence i was 16. and yes, it does. only because it is a more sensitive place and is very hard to clean. but if you wanna get it. go right ahead =] its worth it ! good luck!

Well I got my nose peirced last August by a pretty good guy, very clean and has been doing it for a while, plus it helps that he had a lot of peircings himself. He told me what I would have to do before hand to see if I still wanted the peircing, got a stud instead of a hoop. And what they do is take a small metal rod and a part of a straw, stick the straw up your nose a little (so that they don't hit the inside of your nose) and pierce your nose with the metal. It's done really fast but it hurt like hell. They put the piercing in quick after that. It only hurts for like a minute or two afterwards, so it's not SO bad. Just don't touch it for the rest of the day or it'll bleed a little bit. You have to clean it 3 times a day, twice with anit bacterial liquid and a Q-tip, inside and outside around the peircing, and once with sea salt water (for five minutes) use a cotton ball and just hold it there. I found out that I got lazy about the sea salt and it's stayed a bit red around my nose ring cause of it, so don't forget to do each step. Just make sure that when they peirce you that they use all clean materials and gloves, if not ask them about it, it's not worth keeping your mouth shut and getting your nose infected.

i was searching on here before i got my nose pierced and it scared me so much because everyone said it hurt so bad, but i went and had it done and a highly rated piercing studio, and it didn't hurt at all, it was just a little uncomfortable as the jewelery was pulled through, i'd say about the same as an ear piercing, and i have a very low pain tolerance!

not that much worse. like a little pinch and a teary eye worse than a lobe piercing. now if you are talking cartilige no. its much worse there. dont be afraid. if you want it get it. its worth the 3 seconds of pain.

i really dont mean to be offensive but ppl that say it hurts im sorry but it really dosent bu then again thats what i think you could have a lower pain threshold i think it hurts less and heals quicker than you ears do it girl! be wild! ;)

yes - and it makes your head jolt backwards, thats why someone stands behind you and holds your head, it also makes your eyes water, just when you think youre over the worst, youve the problem of trying to stop the stud fall out, in the week following ha!

Not to come across the wrong way but I have to ask. What is the point of having your nose pierced?? I can understand the ears but I've always wondered why people pierce everything else.

i just got my nose pierced today actually. it wasn't much worse than an ear piercing for me but everyone is different. it's very sore after you get it done but the pain isn't bad and is totally worth it! good luck.

for me, my nose did hurt more but not too much more. i think it hurt more about 2 minutes after the piercing than the actual piercing. BUT i have a very low pain tollerance and i had a zit on my nose and it wasn't bad at all. It depends on the person though. I hope i helped :D.

i got my nose done with a needle by a professional, and when i read some of these comments saying it hurts like hell, sometimes i think maybe they are saying it just to scare people who havent had it done, its a tiny sting for about 3 seconds i swear to god, i got my ears pierced years ago and i screamed my head off, i got my nose pierced and i didnt even cry. dont be scared it is a slight sting, girls if ur scared to get a little needle in ur nose dont ever have a baby
