I met my husband when I was still at school and we went to watch a college Athletics meet. It was a long time before we went out. He was a college mate of one of my brothers friends younger brothers if that is not too convuluted. We later met at parties and other events. I always thought he was very nice and gorgeous to look at but thought he was too old for me 6 years at that age was a lot.

When I met the man who became my husband both of us never thought that we would ever get married. We both agreed on life long relationships though. We moved in together and after the first couple of months I knew that I wanted to marry him and laying in bed one night I told him that he made me change my feelings of marriage and he confided to me that he felt the same way. We got engaged about a year later and married 10 months after that. So, yes, I knew we would get married before we got engaged. Especially because we looked at rings together and I left it up to him and his mother to pick the ring form a couple that we picked out.
