no, i think it's hilarious and you have to realize where it's coming from and not take it as it's face value and see that it's satiricle and not serious.

i think sometimes it can be funny but a lot of the time its offensive for the sake of being offensive, not just for humour. if it was offensive for the purposes of humour, it might be more excuseable, but just being nasty isnt going to get it any fans

I used to think it was offensive to a certain group of religion, ethnic race and so on. But then I realized South Park is offensive to any controversial group. You have to learn not to take this stuff seriously. Remember all this BS they talk comes from: Little people, who live in the cold, and talk fast...

Yup, I do. Some of the stuff they show shouldn't even be on tv. :/ It's pretty disgusting. I watched it years ago,up until maturity hit. ;)

No, most of the 'Reality shows' I've seen are truly offensive. South Park is meant to make light of things that we take too seriously.

At the risk of being downrated because it is not your opinion (whoever has been downrating those who said they like the show), it is not the worst thing I have seen. I think the show is very funny. yes it makes fun of pretty much everything and everybody, but what show, comedian, or cartoon doesn't? Personally I think Family Guy is worse than South Park because it is on regular TV and during prime time. At least South Park is on later at night where less kids are apt to watch it. And of course that all has to go along with parental judgement too.

I think it is vile, and nasty, and disgusting, but I love it, especially because its a satire of humanity, and most episodes have a message to them. However,if you want a show that more aptly fits the description you gave of South Park, watch Drawn Together, that show is just disgusting, but I love it lol. Yes, I do. I still watch it, because they are horrible, awful, disgusting,vile, hurtful, and nasty to everyone! Every social group, race, etc gets burned by South Park. They don't just stick to bashing one, but try and bash more evenly. I will admit, there are a few episodes I won't watch as they go too far for my tastes. I find reality tv alot more offensive. Between the Bad Girls Club and Celebrity Rehab, there is much worse on TV to be up in arms about.

Sometimes it can be a bit too discusting, but if you're not ammused by that sort of thing then don't watch it. After all- that's the idea. If somebody says "I don't like it because it's racist" but then they laugh at the gay jokes, that makes them a hypocrite. Likewise, if someone says "I find their homophobic jokes offensive" but then they laugh at the racist jokes, then they are being a hypocrite. They take all subjects, including racism, religion, homophobia, fatal diseases, celebrity deaths, sexual abuse, incest and all kinds of stuff and just bring it out in the open and make fun of people's attitudes towards it. I personally think it's a very funny cartoon, although i don't go out of my way to watch every episode, I'll just watch it if there's nothing else on. I don't have a problem with people unable to see the humour in it, in fact I repect that. It's only when immature people do take ideas from it and use it to upset someone, but then that's a risk with every comedy.
