Photoshop. I know it's not your basic school subject, but I think it truly unlocks the potential to dream and experiement with your imagination. I teach it as a short course at our University and to watch the light bulbs go on over their heads - oh, I could do this every day of my life. I think creativity is one of the best gifts you can bestow to another person.

I would want to teach kindness or common sense. Not being cynical, just think that it would be a cool subject. You could go on field trips and challenge eachother to be creative and perform random acts of kindness like thay guy in England, Danny Wallace :)

LOL!!! You know what's coming, don't you? LOL! I've taught riding and sewing to people, adults and kids and I loved that but what has really meant the most to me because I think it's something that can spread to others and be used their whole lives, is a passion for cooking. I've taught people to bake and cook and they in turn make things for their family and hopefully turn into good foodies:-) And I've even had two people turn around and teach their kids how. Now, that's teaching something useful that spreads good and love around the world:-)
