I am toying with the idea of placing myself in the Penalty Box for awhile just to give me and you a break. Could anyone of you who has been PB'd tell me what it would be like? Thanks.

I'd never tell you what it would for the person being Penalty Boxed. Let me tell you what it would be like for those of use without you!!! We would miss you greatly. We would lose one of the sweetest ABers and a great question asker, too. And a wonderful heartfelt answer giver. You add so much to this site with your respectful, dignified manner. Don't think of it!

I'd imagine it might be dark and a little scary, but I know you'd get by with some help from your friends, who would be waiting lovingly for your return. These might help though:

Heheh. You bad girl, Rosie. I don't know what you mean by give us a break. You would be missed. Anyway, basically, you can't do anything except see the new answers to your questions and the new comments to your comments. Being in the PB is basically like being rendered mute. But not deaf.

I also like the fun of social experiments. What would people do if I did . . . ? And I've thought about this as well (not to much thought though). I did ask a question to be downrated for no reason other than I asked to be downrated. And I actually only had about 10% of people downrate me. The rest gave me points. So If you need a break, just step away from the keyboard. And just to let you know, we don't want or need a break from you.
