How often do you play point fairy? do you have any requirements for people when you gift points?

I points fairy on a regular basis. I will points fairy if someone is depressed, if I see that a friend is close to making his/her next rank, if I think a question or an answer did not deserve downrating, or for no reason whatsoever.

oh yeah I look so good in my tutu and wings !!! its the hairy legs that are the let down...:):), but yeah guilty as charged especially D/R's for no reason

i think quite often-i give points for answers or questions that i enjoy whether i answer or not-also do it to offset downraters even if i disagree with the persons opinion-just believe that if polite all should be encouraged to share their views---just my thoughts-cool question-smile and enjoy the night

Seeing how I am VERY new to this, I've only done point fairy a few times. I do notice that I am more likely to give points to people who come across as real, or to those with a long long way to go...like me:)

Never, I point all answers to my questions and almost all questions I answer. I have 5 or 6 rules for downrating and if one is broke then I downrate

I wear my wings all the time. When I hear a great answer, some are very funny, some are educational, etc. My main reason is unfair down rating on a perfectly good question. I have had it happen to me a couple of times, and my friends came to the rescue. Oh by the way, Thanks to everyone that has given me points. :)

I don't have any requirements when playing the point fairy. I just select my target.

I positroll if I know an ABer is being trolled without good reason or if they were downrated for stating an opinion. Why do people ask for opinions and then downrate? I would guess I positroll at least twice a week.

I am very random when it comes to being a point fairy. I uprate many questions that appeal to me without answering them. I also like to help newbies who are attempting to be serious ABers. I also help many of the people who are on my Friends' List.

I only have a few rules, and I break them frequently. I like to give points and I do. I play point fairy every time I sign on.

I play point fairy while moderating the site. It's such a pity that many great questions and answers have remained with zero points.

I enjoy randomly going through profiles and up-grading unjust negatives.

I suppose I play 'point fairy' when I meet somebody on AnswerBag that is genuine. Not one of these greedy people that wants points all the time. If a person gives good 'true' answers, and not stupid one-liners that aren't even relevant to the question, then I give them a point. If they actually reply to me, I'll check their profiles, take a look at their other activity and give points where I feel they should be given. It's a nice thing to do. It's a shame points are given anonymously, because I'd like to know who gives ME points, so that I can return the favour! :D

everyday I pick 4 or 5 people and max out my points to them usually those on my friends list and sometimes I just hand them out to whomever post something good. I am on my third day and cant give many yet but in these three days I bet I have given over 2000 points out. edit and I just gave everyone who answered this question before me my two points worth LOL

Everyone that answers my questions gets points no matter what ! =) It's only fair to me or if i see a good anwser inlatest questions then i go in read it and give it points! =)

I do so every time I log on. I start with the homepage and if I see a question that is worthy I will automatically give points...regardless of whether I answer or not. If I see a question that I think deserves it, I am not stingy. Then I do the same as I look through the other categories :) Points aren't money, so I'm not stingy about them.

I give points pretty profusely. I just went through and gave all the answers to this question posted at this time some points. The question too. The only rule I have when giving them is whenever I see a question/answer by someone I like a lot I always give them points even if I don't reply to it in any way. I have even been known to give people points just cos I see they are close to the next level. Cos that's just how I roll.

It is sort of a random thing. I like reading many questions every day and rewarding wonderful answers that I find.

I go to the oldest questions and give out points to people who haven't got them in 2006 or 2007. I never leave any comments behind. I jst give out points. I even give them out to people who have been downrated.

Quite often, I have seen very good answers not rated accordingly therefore I do my best to up rate then. I still don't have enough points to make a difference but I have a few friends who will always help me.

Maybe 2 or 3 times a week. I don't have any hard and fast rules. No. As long as it isn't abusive or disgusting I will give it some points.

Generally I give points if they answered the question or if I like the question. If I think the question is trash I don't bother with it. If the answers trash I just skip it or if it's really bad I will down-rate it. But, I do try to look around and give points every day.

I just give points , though I don't just go down a list of questions and give points out , I give to the questions I answer or find a question that I need the same answers to , then I give them points - I' Give Points almost always -- + up
