My Xbox works, but then doesn't work. Sometimes if I hold my Xbox vertical with the disc tray facing up it will open and my Xbox will work fine. The rest of the time it won't though.

  My xbox powers itself up while continuously opening and closing the disc tray until I unplug it. It will let me play for random amounts of time before it starts up again. Is it time for a new unit?
