I'd be tempted to wear white ones, but if the thought fills you with horror try wearing a pastel colour (blue would be nice) and then repeating the colour in a scarf or accesory elsewhere in your outfit, depending on the dress you could even get away with black this way. You could also try brown, but only heels as brown flats may look frumpy.
