you don't think perserving one of the 2 lives is worth it? Why loose both lives when at least one can be saved? It's easy to say and hard to do.. but I know myself well enough to say that if I had to face this decision, I would take the chance to save at least one of my babies...

That is a subjective thing, it depends on your own personal beliefs. If they were my children then I would wish to save one if I could, choosing which one would be the hardest decision a mother would have to make.

I feel for anyone who will ever have to make this decision. But I believe that it would be morally wrong not to give at least one of the infants a chance at life. As was stated before, the decision of which to save will haunt you for the rest of your life.

what is the difference between "conjoined" and "joined?"

Sometimes there is no clear morally right choice, so you have to do the best you can and ask God for forgiveness. It is a fallen world. In situations like this, He understands. It is like being in WW2 and protecting allied airmen in your cellar. The Nazis come to your door and ask you if you are hiding allied airmen. Do you say yes, and get yourself and them killed, or do you like (which is morally wrong)? Obviously, though it grates to the bone, you lie, because there is no clearly morally right choice. These are extreme situations, and, as someone else has written, I feel for anyone faced with such a horrific dilemma.

I believe so, the hard part would be choosing which baby to save.
