  • You can't verify something if it's unverifiable otherwise it wouldn't be unverifiable but you can verify if the unverifiable thing is really unverifiable.

  • I agree with Bon Basil. You can´t, so it would also be an unconstructive waste of time to try (allthough many people try). If you encounter something unverifiable, you can learn about the claim. Someone state the claim "There is a God!" or "There is reincarnation!", however... none are of any use to you in your practise. You can´t technically use them hands-on like you can with a coffee-machine, or meditation. The Buddha warned about occupying oneself with such things, as they not only lead to self-deception, but also you waste lots and lots of valuable lifetime, you could have used on developing yourself (getting rid of suffering). It´s a matter of priority. Simple as that.
