They pull it out and smack you with it. Bwaa haa ha ha! I think they just "cap" it to protect what's left or add a little filling depending on how badly it's chipped. I've heard it's nothing like getting a cavity filled or a tooth pulled, so I wouldn't worry.

they just fill up the gap. nothing to worry about really, i've seen it done heaps of times, and helped to do it too!

It doesn't hurt at all. It's just applying some white chemical that hardens and then shaping it to look like your tooth isn't chipped. No biggie. :)

one of my front teeth got chipped and the dentist just shaved it down a bit and same with the other side to even it out. i actually don't think she understood what i wanted and she thought i wanted a cosmetic change or some shit cuzz there's still a little chip but it doesn't bother me anymore. and my two front teeth are very nicely eve i guess...
