I got my tragus pierced with a 16 gauge a year ago. Can I put a 14 gauge in?

I never thought of stretching my tragus piercings (gone due to having to have a CAT scan).

Here is what my piercer told me when I had them pierced:

He said that cartilage piercings can only be stretched one notch over the original piercing and even that is dubious... especially the tragus.

I would think that swapping jewelry in the tragus yourself would be difficult to say the least.

I would suggest going to a piercer, asking the question, and paying the $5 to $10 to have them swap it for you if it is doable.
