  • Yes actually I don't need to impress him he needs to impress me
  • Oh yeah... just may be a fault of mine. A little too honest!
  • not really it would be my own opinion so skrewy him lol
  • Yes , I would stick to my opinion although I would be willing to listen to his. He is very nice and would not expect everyone to agree with him although he would do his best to persuade anyone that had a different veiwpoint
  • I would feel fine to disagree. I would not insult him or his intellect, but I could disagree. Correct: "Good points, Rich, but I disagree that the monetary fund is causing the ills of today's economic downturn. I believe it is the over-extended credit in overseas markets" Incorrect: "Shut up, Bitch! You so stupid! Go back and put your head where it belongs, up yo' ass!"
  • I asked this question because I overheard my brother, who is the COO, talking about the debates. I think the other man was also a republican and they agreed but I thought to myself, “Ian, he works for you…he could be just agreeing because you are his boss”
  • Honestly, no, My one boss is rediculously liberal in his views, I'm rediculously conservative, I fear it wouldn't go well because I know he'd take my disagreements personally.
  • I got this look I give everybody that even thinks of trying to raise some hell when it comes to their political views and its a, "I don't give a f**k" look and it works quite well.
  • I would keep work and politics seperate if I could. Just be vague with them. Then vote the way you want.
  • I know something about your personal/work situation so it's a little out of the ordinary. But in general I don't talk politics in the office and give my staff 1/2 a day off to vote-"vote for the scoundral of your choice but vote"
  • If someone is adament about speaking politics I usually chime in and say whos running and what they stand for doesn't matter to me because I just write in my vote for either myself or Mickey Mouse. Usually the don't bother me again about something as petty as presidental elections. Another good answer would be I don't care what they do while in office because the stuff that screws me today was because of a bad decision made probably 100 years ago. Hows the new person supposed to help me out with that?
  • I'm pretty conservative. There was a flaming liberal who worked for me. He called me up the other day, and told me how much he missed our political discussions.
  • My boss is an extremely intelligent man. And he votes the same way I do. Even if he were a Gott danged bleeding heart liberal, I'd still not be afraid to disagree with him.
  • In the workplace I don't have any views about religion or politics. Not like it's hard to figure out without explicitly stating it.
  • I've generally kept away from discussing certain personal topics at work, politics being one of them, but I will say this, if I had a boss that I was 'afraid' to disagree with, then I would look for a different job. I just choose to work with people with whom I share a mutual respect, no matter what the topic.
  • I make it a point to never discuss politics or religion outside of my own comfort circle (i.e. peeps I know who don't sign my paycheck!)
  • Yeah, kind of hard not to talk politics in the places I've worked.
  • depends on how is the boss, but after 27 years on this planet, i can tell that most of the people pretend they are open minded, but iam afraid they are not, including me :P
  • Not really. But I don't like conflict so I would probably just smile and move on.
