  • You could attempt to boot the computer in safe mode by holding down F8 just after powering it on. Then once in safe mode, you will have to attempt to isolate the problem.
  • if troubleshooting is not getting you anywhere. you could restore your system to factory settings by pressing CTRL-f11 at startup to activate the symantec PC restore program.
