Ok, take a breath in. Now let it out. He will be fine. Your baby is exposed to bacteria every day and he is still living and breathing. Don't stress so much. He'll be fine.

If you put the clothes in the dryer, the heat will kill off any bacteria anyway.

I think you could just wash them over on gentle and that should take care of it I hope you did not ruin any delicate clothing because of the setting otherwise just wash them over

Unless your child is immune comprised in some way it's important to not be overly germ/bacteria vigilant. In a couple of years your "baby" will be licking the doorknob at school, trading "bites" from lunch boxes with his friend GooeyNose. Worrying too much about germ/Bacteria exposure now is likely to make his entry into the real world an even bigger cycle of being sick than normal. I know this because I did it. We spent the better part of a year sick with every bug known to man and some not known to man trying to catch up with the kids who had developed immunities from a very early age Due to their less germ/bacteria phobic mommies and some daycare thrown in for good measure. If you did expose his clothing to a bacteria (which is highly unlikely) GOOD.
