I'm having a nice chilled out day with my doors locked and curtains closed. I'm warm and cosy all tucked up on the sofa with my laptop, TV remote and my adorable cat, Marley.

Seriously, some very difficult issues have arisen in my life over the last few weeks, and I am in a lot of pain. I am taking some comfort in editing work I enjoy doing and some AB breaks here and there. Both help me feel "okay" for a while.

I'm doing okay now. I had a nice time last night: a few drinks but no hangover, a nice meal but no stuffing myself. I was really sad earlier today and didn't know why; unfortunately, that feeling may return, as it sometimes does when the holidays draw to a close. This, too, however, shall pass, and I hope for the best in 2011.
