its all in your genes. you should just love your body and take care of it. who said that was your ideal weight? you must be at your ideal weight now, you are certaintly taking care of yourself.

Add a minimum of 64 oz water to your daily routine. Take a multivitamin. Instead of three meals, try 5 small meals. Watch your portion sizes: measure your food before it hits the plate. Try using a salad plate instead of a dinner plate. Plate sizes have increased by something like 30% in the last 30 years or so. Make sure your daily diet includes fresh fruits and veggies and go easy on the starches. Realize that some people have slower metabolisms and your body may need a boost to drop lower. You may be healthy just as you are. Have your cholestrol and blood pressure and blood sugar checked. If you are healthy; try worrying a little less about what the scale says! :o)
