  • my hands or my feet
  • Depending on your body coverage, the human body is designed to take care of its self in order of priority, meaning it will pump blood to keep the warmth to the most vital parts first, that being your head and your heart. As your body temp starts to drop then the parts farthest from the brain and heart go first. This will usually be the toes and the fingers. The process slowly starts to work its way up from there. That's why it's very important to keep your head covered when in extreme weather. I believe you will lose as much as 30% of your core temp from heat exiting from your head. Your head thinks it's #1 and will automatically take as much heat as it can. I'm almost certain that your brain will be the last to shut down. Your brain tells the rest of your body what to do and it will basically start shutting down one part at a time until it comes to shutting down organs, By that time you will have already suffered from acute hypothermia and will be lucky to survive without specialized medical treatment.
