In both cases, the percentage are very low. fathers, having full custody of their children, does exist. when the mother has been proven to be unfit, without a doubt, as a drug abuser, a child abuser, or incarcerated in prison. it occurs more often than most people realize. receiving child support, from the mother, is another question altogether. generally, this does not exist, unless court ordered. and, sometimes this makes no difference to an unfit mother.
