I’m guessing that the heater box is a mirror image of a left hand drive vehicles. Either way the fault codes should still be the same. So the first thing you could do is read the fault codes of the AZC system. The dual climate control has an Automatic Zone Control (AZC). The most common fault codes are 54-56 which indicate a blend door failure. What usually happens is that the passenger side loses heat than shortly after (a year or so) the driver side will lose heat, and you do not have control of the air conditioning temperatures, it just blows out cold air no matter what the temperature is set at. This is the usual symptoms for the blend door failure. Yours seem to be reversed, it’s happened before! For more information on the fault codes, etc checkout the Blen Dor Store on Ebay. There is a Blen Dor repair kit that is sold on Ebay for $110. An easy blend door replacement kit with only two parts to install. No Dashboard Removal. The Blen Dor kit is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. For more information try a search for Blen Dor or visit the Blen Dor Store at http://stores.ebay.com/blendorstore

The most common cause of these symptoms is broken blend doors.
