What are the different levels of ANSWERBAG, how do i get points and such, howcome sometimes the little gray dots next to answers, comments, and friends Q&A turns gold, and how long does it take before I dont look like a newbie anymore?

Moderate (flag questions as nonsense or duplicate or spam/offensive or wrong category) You won't look like a newbie if you don't use that blue bag as your avatar. That blue bag was my avatar when I was at Level 1. You can find many answers to questions about answerbag by typing the keywords into the "search for answers" box above. That will help you avoid looking like a newbie.

Check out my AB profile. There are a lot of "Answerbag Questions & Answers" in there (look for that heading). ;-) As for newbie... Depends on how long you ask questions like this! LOL ;-)

The dots you are referring to are called lights and they light up when you have comments or answers. You have to activate your activity list by clicking on the view my profile and activity, at the bottom of the same box. There are boxes at the top of the list that you can click to put x in or take x out.

I'm a newbie too but i've learned so far that those gold dots are alerts telling you that someone has given you an answer or a comment. Doggie is also right about your avatar situation. You gotta get that changed in a hurry.
