Maybe to some extent in the big picture. But I dont think that we do in things like aircraft. The cost of taking them out of aircraft would much out weigh what risk there is. The 777 is an large aircraft that without the aid of computers would be very difficult... Since the use of computers has gone into effect the number of accidents has gone way down. I would be more worried if they would put more control into the hands of people because people get tired and the miss somethings. What if that small thing wasnt as small as it was judged to be. Maybe in our shopping centers that is true for when I was shopping the computers crashed so they closed down the story because they didnt know what to do. So I think computers have their place, but we shouldnt be 100% dependant on them.

I would rather have a computer. There may be computer errors...but they come nowhere close to human errors.
