  • I usually just hold the end that needs sterilization in the flame from a lighter for several seconds. Make sure you don't hold the other end with your bare fingers since it can get hot. This also leaves the item discolored from soot but I've never had a problem getting that off.
  • Rubbing alcohol and bleach are both good. You can use a torch or butane lighter to sanitise. Heat is an effective method to sterilise tools and inactivate viruses.
  • Alcohol will kill 99.9% of all germs. remember to dry a razor thoroughly. do not touch the blades with your hands. it makes the razor rust twice as fast. use a hairdryer.

  • As an added measure or even a pre-alcohol method you could steam or boil the instrument in water.
  • Razor blades should not be shared, so disinfecting them shouldn't be a concern. Besides, because razors are disposable, if there's ever any question as to a razors cleanliness it should just be thrown away! Tweezers also shouldn't be shared with others, however, they can be easily kept clean by rubbing with alcohol after each use to remove any hair or skin cells. Periodically all personal utensils should be washed in sudsy water using dish soap (Dawn) or Clorox CleanUp. This would include combs, hairbrushes, hair clips, rollers, nail clippers and tweezers. Though it's a lot of water, using your dishwasher to sanitize your personal items periodically is a great way to do it. Grab everything you can find, that won't melt in very hot water, that needs a good washing. Don't forget about any sex toys that could use a thorough cleaning - as long as they aren't electic! Use twist ties or hair clips to keep small stuff from flying around and getting caught up in the bottom sprayer blade. Set the machine on the shortest cycle and go for it. By the way, remove hair from the brushes before putting them in the dishwasher, and please don't add this stuff to a regular dish washing cycle. Don't forget about this load until later! You don't want to surprise someone looking for a clean glass by having a hot, steamy, wet dildo fall out!
