Yes.
Here in Montreal, we finally had and hosted our first Nascar event last summer. I worked as security for the weekend and got paid to watch. I like fast cars, but there is no way I'd pay THAT MUCH just to watch, but getting paid to watch is OK.
No, and I never will. NASCAR is not my cup of tea.
Yes. And I'm a Gordon fan. Na na na na naaaaaaaaa...
I will be attending my first race this May in Dover. I am so excited I can't wait. 4 girls on the loose at the track, there could be some trouble.
Yes, the 1989 Pocono 500. I had a pit pass also.
So dying to go to a race in either bristol or daytona. Johnson is my man, so Lowes Motor Speedway is on my to do list as well. Havent actually been to one, but got to sit in Sadler's car while it was running and earplugs dont help one bit, so cant wait to hear what 40+ cars sound like! And yes, Gordon winning does suck!
Went to one in Michigan. Junior blew up and Gordon won so that sucked, but it was cool as hell. TV does not do it justice.
yes, i go to about 4 races a year. It is a great time.
i have been to watkins glen the past 2 years. it definitely ranks right up there with talladega as far as partying. last year i went on thursday morning and left monday night, and got 4 hours of sleep all weekend. AMAZING times! highly recommended. cant see all of the track, but it is still an awesome racetrack to go to. btw. im a stewart fan!!
Yes, all the time, my friend is a Nascar driver, Matt Grafton.

No. I am not sure I want to either.
Yes lots of them and plan on going to a lot more.
YEP! Been attending NASCAR races since 1983...they are great!
You bet! I go to Dover once a year. Nothing is better then a nascar race. Especially talking about them after with friends.
Went to the first race at the then new Homestead track. It was a Bush(now National) race. Sure was a whole different thing from the dirt track my dad took us to every Sat. night growing up. AWESOME!!!!
no i think nascar is silly
Yes, three to be exact....at the Dallas raceway! I even got to drive a racecar!!!! Believe it or not. My husband was a Snap-on Tool dealer for a few years, and we went to Dallas and they have these special things where you can take a class and drive one. Wowwwwwww, it was fast and scary. Those curves on the end of the loop are almost on a straight up and down slant!
I've been to Phoenix twice and had a blast both times. Get the scanner and sit high up for the whole experience. GO TONY!!!
i went to louden Nh for a race last year it was a hell of a race
yes, Bristol, Phoenix, Daytona,& Sears point. Daytona was great, but Bristol was the coolest thing ever. Awesome. Not a fan of the c.o.t.
I've been to several. They are a blast!
Yes. I went to a Busch race in Richmond.
I go to MIS. It is so awesome! Just the sound of the cars is amazing. You can feel it in your chest. Of course its more fun to have people in your area not hate your driver or vice versa. It's well worth the money to go if you really enjoy NASCAR!
Yes and I found it to be a kick in the pants. The smell of fuel and rubber burning is awesome. The speeds those cars can get to.
I love Nascar. It is not really about the cars, more the personalities. After following it for a while, you start to like and dislike certain drivers, and it becomes a little bit of a soap opera at 200 mph. Plus if you go to an event, the first time the cars zoom by you will realize the its awesome. The noise is amazing.
No and I hope I never have to. I'm definitely not a race enthusiast.
yes I love it, KS speedway is great
yes
no...wish i could
Yeah ive been to a few races,
here in New Hampshire
I want to go to Daytona tho.
I've been to The Brickyard, Michigan, Talladega, Bristol, and Chicago.
not yet,but i am planning on it. I would love to go to Bristol.
Yes. I go to the TX races every time and I went to the Pepsi 400 in Daytona in July.
Went to a Michigan CART race some years ago, and had a IROC race to start things off. Closest I've ever came to actual NASCAR. NASCAR drivers were in it, though.
Yes and it's not nearly as exciting as I thought it would be.
I dislike Nascar. I LOVE Dirt racing with sprint cars, though.
Yes. I have been to 2 Atlanta races and 3 Talladega races. They were both very interesting events.
No. The NA bit at the start stands for North American and I've never been there. It's good to see that they don't call it the World Series or World Championship of Car Racing though, unlike certain other sports from that continent.
Yep, I've been to two Pocono races, two Daytona 500's, and one (soon to be two) Dover races.
what's that/
Never have, never will.
yes +5
the average NASCAR vehicle goes about about 5 miles per gallon. usually diesel fuel.
In the Indy 500, on average, if all the cars were to finish the race, then they would use about 112,500 gallons of gasoline. That would be enough fuel to heat the houses of my whole neighborhood for the winter and the next 5. Instead its being wasted on pointless car races. Its sad...
Yes, I do go to the Nascar West series races in Orgeon. Have not been able to travel to a Nascar cup series event, hopefully one day!
Yes many!!!!!!!!!!!!

Earlier today a man told me he was “better than the people of NASCAR, at least the fans anyway.” See description for question.

When they show the drivers' names/places during a race, why do they spell out Brad Keselowski but only show others' last names?

Yeah, it's pretty incredible what it costs to go to any national or international sporting event.

That is why I work part time seasonally ... 3 weekends per year ... for the Formula 1, for the Indy, and for the Nascar ... I get to watch while getting paid, and they like having a 7th degree black belt that speaks six languages to the global tourists that come here from all over just to watch.
