Help answer this question below.

My son made me a beautiful cotton tee-shirt using Sharpie markers for Mother's Day, but how can I set the markers/colors so they don't come out in the wash?

    I think it should stay pretty well if it's Sharpie. I have a shirt from 2nd grade that's written on in Sharpie, and 11+ years later, it's still all there.

    find one of the pens...it says the ink is permanent.

    let it soak in white vinegar/cold water..that's what we did back in the 60's when tie-dye was IN!

    maybe you can scan it and have a small tshirt company create the print for you on another tshirt.

    The only thing I can think of to do is to try ironing it real good. That should make the colors stay.
