Why are so many men worried about the size of their penis?I have heard few women ever complain about anyone.and I'm gay and it certainly doesn't matter to me.Has the media caused this lack of confidence, like it has about 'perfect' female body.

Well personally I can say I am not worried about my size, mainly because I am well off, but to most men their penis is the source of their male power. It is what makes men men. If they haven't got the right equipment then they see themselves as less than a man. Personally I like them a bit smaller as well, being gay myself. Sure the big ones are fun to look at but good lord I couldn't ever have sex with one.

Size is important...to the man wielding the sword! As a woman I am more interested in what he is going to do with it than how big it is. Thankfully, in my marriage I am spoiled in both departments ;0) As with a lot of things the more you worry the more you convince yourself that there is a problem. Chill out - it's bigger than you think.....

I don't know and I don't understand, either. Every man has a penis and they might come in different sizes, but it really doesn't matter, and men should stop being ashamed of their penis if they think it's too small. It doesn't matter. If a girl goes out with a guy and has a problem with his penis size, then she is the one who has a problem, not him.

If you really think about it, most people in serious relationships probably have sex less than 10 or 5% of the time they are with their partner. It would seem that sex (and therefore penis size) would be of minor concern in the grand scheme of things. Then again, I'm not a girl so I wouldn't know how impotant it is to them.

What's wrong with this world. Most of this porn guys get pumped up before shots. They take three, four viagras, with a bloodpressure 110/170. Do people really think there girlfriend or wife would rather be with a none working, gym freak who takes regluarly drugs to enhance himself. When you have to watch porn, watch atl east real amateur porn. Then you will see what is large and what is average. By the way, a nice beer belly makes your little friend down there look smaller. Start working out a little more, shower before bed time and listen what your girl likes. That is much more important than a foot long monster.

gym class. up to age 12 or so, most guys never see each other naked. then, as soon as they get to the age when they want privacy, they are forced into public showering. it's child abuse. the boys who are less endowed and/or less physically mature become subject to ridicule, hazing and bullying, and become obsessed with something they probably never gave much thought to before. that was my experience, and i'm sure many men have gone through the same situation. to this day i'm seized by feelinga of inadequacy and self-hatred.

You know, we woman can be bitches sometimes but, in the end, our vaginas are on average 6" deep and the most sensitive area is the first 3". So why do we make men feel inadequate? Because we are horrible people?

People (of both genders) are insecure. More power to you, but am I correct in assuming that you care more about the quality of the relationship in general and the emotion of the more intimate moments than about the physical aspect of things? I don't think the media really is to blame here. There is more to culture than media influence so I would blame our culture of excess and I don't think the media has as much to do with that as you'd think.

Having a penis is part of being male. A large penis makes a man appear powerful. If he does not "measure up" sexually, he may try to compensate with other signs of power, such as expensive clothing, cars, etc.

Men should stop feeling embarassed if they think their penis size isn't 'huge'. As long as it does what it's meant to do, then you have no worries! If a girl is judgemental on a guys penis, then she is obviously a sex-driven slut. GUYS: The majority of women do not care about what size your penis is :]
