  • I haven't kept up with the latest... the nest was restored, however the pigeon proofing damages the eggs, so there have been no baby hawks since the nest was destroyed. http://www.palemale.com/ I believe there is a petition around to remove the pigeon proofing -- however, all things considered, it's not a terrible outcome, there are several pairs around there now -- and the reason the nest was destroyed in the first place was because of the mess -- My guess is the worst of the mess occurs when there are eggs and chicks in the nest.
