OK,this is an old topic or w/e but still.... just letting you know that's a rare thing (usually in people who are skitzo etc.) and really only happens when high doses are taken. LSD is probably the safest drug you could ever use. There isn't one single death on record that is directly related to the use of LSD. I think one guy jumped off a balcony when on LSD and Coke. But other than that you never hear of LSD ruining lives too often. Now compare that to drinking alcohol. Alcohol is WAyyyyyYYYy more dangerous. Don't be scared of it.

What's all this bull about lifetime LSD trips!? The length of time a trip last about 2 days, couldbe more, a week at very VERY most. But the trip itself will not last over that. Flash backs (where, even years after taking LSD you begin to experience parts of the EXACT same trip again) may occur even years after the trip. But no lifetime trips! Get real!

Sid Barret of Pink Floyd was tripping on lsd for like 20 or 30 yrs and was in a nut ward for a long time. he thought that he was an orange and didnt want people to get close to him because he thought that they would squez the juice out of him. when he finnaly came down he was released like 2 or 3 yrs ago and he had just recently died. dont know what from but it wasnt the lsd that he took a very long time ago. just amagin tripping for 20 or 30 yrs like he did. would that be fun or what?

Most of this stuff is untrue. The Syd Barrett stuff is even silly. Even a large dose will subside in about 16 hours. There could be residual effects for another 5 or 6 hours but that's about it. The next day you can feel a little raw and strung out. If you read the Electric Kool-Aid Acid test.....Ken Kesey and his friends, the Pranksters sometimes played with very high doses.
