I don't like soupy chili. It's too thin for me. I think it should be more like a stew so I say a meal:-)

Chili is a meal. If it is soupy, it is not chili. It is then to be called soupy chili, and that is not proper. :O

I call it a meal, but then, soup can be a meal, too. My wife calls my chili "soup" even though there's not a bit of "soupy" about it. ;-)
