I just changed my clutch cable how much primary oil do i add or how much does the primary case hold on a 2001 sportster 1200 custom

I believe it is to the bottom of the inspection cover with the bike in an upright level position. Usually a two man job unless you have a jack stand or lift.

if you drain the primary it takes 1 qt. it is special oil you can get it from HD or a independent motorcycle shop that has HD parts. or to the bottom of the clutch cover
