Actually, I often hang out on AB because I don't agree with myself and want to turn down the volume in my head. But I get the added bonus of spending time with an outstanding group of people. So, to answer your question, I disagree and agree completely;)

Disagree. Even if I want agreement all the time, I can still get views from people who agree with me or get different opinions and agree with them. A single person can have two agreements at the same time or a single problem can have two solutions or a single statement may have more opinions, and none of them may be absolutely wrong. So, its not always that only we agree with our own opinions and others opinions also can be agreed.And I agree that AB is a great place to get that.

True up to a point. Sometimes you are just asking for affirmation of the validity of your belief(s).

1) I disagree, for diverse reasons. I am not sure that you will agree with all of them, but we don't want agreement all the time, do we? 2) some of us are full of contradictions and would also sometimes disagree with themselves. You can also disagree today with what you thought yesterday. Me too. 3) those people who "want agreement all the time" generally don't just want this. They are rather looking for people who have initially other opinions and want to convice them to change their mind. This seems to give them even more satisfaction than all the plain agreement they could receive. 4) If you want to do this, Answerbag is not a great place to hang out. I'll make Answerbag to hell for this kind of people, as long as they won't change their mind and agree with my views about how this site should be used. 5) Answerbag a great place to hang out, whether you want other people's opinions, information or just fun.
