How can I remove a hair that is stuck in my throat?

    Dr. Khaghn

I have had few patients come to me with this very problem, and as any good doctor would do, I researched into this matter with great enthusiasm and I am pleased of my result.

It is reccomended that you eat a lot of bread, and drink a lot, preferably milk. (Milk contains calcium, also known as 'Ca', which can dilate the amount of folatisodinating acid which is found in the membranes of the hair.

The fine duxlations of multicellular contoxapies will endure fixation when bread (and/or liquid) is taken down the throat. The berimiters of the hair will become very granuble and break down the barriers, leaving it to dissolve. However, this process may take a while and patience is required (it may take up to 3 weeks, but it is worth it).

This is not a life threatening situation. The stermidable salinatates found in mucous glands will eventually, over time, break down the hair. Resulting in a 6month wait.

You could also physically remove the hair, however, some people do not like the discomfort of this procedure and I would advise using my other suggestions as above.

    All the best,

    Dr. J Khaghn

You should swallow spoonful wheat flour and then gargle water and swallow all of it. Water mixes with flour and hair gets stuck in mixture and goes inside your stomach.

    Dear Doctor Khagh

I have never heard about folatisodinating acid:

Your comment looks suspicious to me

I hope somebody can provide some more information about it...

gargle with a liquid hair remover then rinse thoroughly... If it says harmful or fatal if swallowed then i would consult a psychiatrist about why you risk it before contacting a physician to see how harmful swallowing just a little is

It was 4 days of trying everything to get the hair out of my throat. Pretzels, bread, water, gargleing, crackers, toothbrush, olive oil, and honey. I was at the point that I was going to use my cat's hair ball paste!! What finally worked was 4 pieces of Round table's original crust chicken garlic pizza!!!

    Good luck to you all!!!

Thanks for the advice... but I've already tried that. My doctor said that he really couldn't give me any advice, other than to drink a lot of water to try to flush it down. He said that if I waited long enough.. the hair would eventually be dissolved.

Do gargles 3 times a day. I don't know how that hair got there and don't swallow it! It can cause damage in your stomach and it can stay there for a long time. If nothing works go to the hospital! Hope I helped=)

Coat an orange slice, or lemon slice if you prefer, with crushed red pepper (you know, the kind you get when you order pizza). Yes, I know, you'll be burning, but trust me, this will work. Then, proceed to drink 3/4 cup hot water with 1/4 cup white vinegar. Mix in honey or sugar for desired taste. If needed, use a steam inhaler to further clear you throat.
P.S. I am allergic to pet hair, which I happened to inhale through my mouth. I don't know what other hair you would be referring to that would be in your throat. Hope this works.
