Well it's certainly valid to be (since no one knows for sure what happens when you die). But, it's also valid to be unafraid (since no one knows for sure what happens when you die).
-
i'm deathly afraid of dying. i guess the should depends on the value you put upon it, (your life).
-
I don't think so. They're merely returning to the place they were during the first 13.5 billion years of the Universe's existence.
-
you are least afraid of dying when you are about to die, so...
-
I am not at all afraid of death, but I *am* afraid of dying.
-
Aye.. indeed. Tis "death" they should not fear.
-
no, even if it hurts
-
Its an inevitable event that I am prepared for. I would not say that I am afraid, but it would be normal to be apprehensive because of the unknown.
-
Only if your full of regrets and your not happy about yourself.
-
I don't know. I think it's only natural, people tend to fear the unknown. And death is a pretty big unknown.
-
the really old people want to die. they cant remember anything and cant eat or walk anymore. they are sure they will go to heaven. they want peace and quiet.
-
Yes they should because if people aren't afraid to die the will to live would not exist.
-
Having fear as a motive to live is unappealing to me. I exist now of my own free will. Death will come to me, I am not running towards it, nor away from it. I am as certain about what will happen after I die as I am certain what will happen tomorrow. Death is part of life. Since I am here, alive right now, with all the universes' pain and glory, I am going to enjoy what I can. What happens after this life is unknown to me, whether it be bliss, torture, or nothing at all; it doesn't mean I should take my life, this gift, for granted.
-
No..it's a natural part of living..sooner or later, one way or another we are all going to die..being afraid of that is doing nothing more than stressing out over something that you cannot change..focus on living until you die :)
-
Death, no. Dying, yes.
-
Death is never anything to be afraid of.
