  • Not in my area. I think the closest is in New Jersey. But we had one within 25 miles of us back in CA. I thought it had some interesting things but not much for a 'make it from scratch' person like me. It has good quality foods, but most are already processed into something. I'd rather have great ingredients, more like at a Whole Foods store. It's wonderful to make up a gift baskets of tasty treats and products from shopping at TJ's. And I think a lot of what they have is overpriced.
  • Its about 20 miles away from my area, so we don't go as often. It's a great store with a lot of neat little items that you don't really see in normal grocery stores.
  • No. I wish there were...
  • I used to love the place but last time I went I walked around and didn't buy a single thing. Prices seem higher than they used to be and just too many "convenience" type of foods instead of specialty ones.
  • Yes, and I like it a lot. In fact, another is going to open about half a mile - walking distance - from us. I buy "Two-Buck Chuck" wine there (it's good), and cheese, and nuts. Their produce is good too, and priced attractively. There's a lot of stuff I DON'T buy, but on balance, I really like TJs.
  • Yes, we do. We don't shop there all of the time, but when we need something "out of the ordinary" that our regular, closer grocery store doesn't have, we head to Trader Joe's.
