  • I had a friend that had this happen when she pierced her tongue. Come to find out she was allergic to the metal in the barbell. The doctor told her to crush up aspirin (straight aspirin) and set it on her tongue 2-3 times a day. Then as soon as she was able to, she got a plastic barbell. It's worth a shot, but when in doubt, go to a doctor.
  • This happened to me too when I got my tongue pierced. It went away after a while (A month or two) It's ugly and you can pick it off after a while but your tongue is just trying to reject the metal. After a while your tongue will get used to having it there and the white thing will go away.
  • it doesnt mean any thing if you where rings and you reacked to the metel than do what that dude said go to the doctor or w/e but outherwize it usualy happens to evey one ho gets it done = D
  • did it hurtt alott? what does it feel like. like do you regret it?
  • 100% normal. The white stuff is just dead blood cells, but dont pannic. its all normal. mine did the same thing its just a healing process. and if you jsut got it done yesterday, than of course it will still hurt. it will continue to hurt for around a week. depends on how weel you take care of it.
