When is a T.V. to large?

When you actually have to turn your head side to side to see the whole picture instead of just your eyes....:)

When you cannot sit at least 2.5 times its height away from it. The giant TV shown at CES recently would require a 40 ft viewing room.

T.V.'s can't be too large, the room they're in is too small.

Having bought one that is definitely not too big, I would say when you get neck pain from leaning back to watch it or from 'tennis neck'. And maybe when you have to run back and forth between the speakers to catch all the sound:-)
