Help answer this question below.

Have a 1987 ford f150-Dual tanks electric fuel pumps-wont start on either tank-Both fuel pumps cant be gone at once? I leave it on rear tank so I dont think it is the switch any thoughts

    I just had the same problem. Listen for the pumps. No noise. No power. Mine was the wire coming of the negative terminal. There are two connectors. One was separated. Put it together and taped it and she started right up

    Before you change fuel pumps check to make sure your getting power to the pumps. The pumps here are about 140.00 each and I found this was not my problem. Check fuses,relays and the shut off switch. The only thing I have not replaced is the tank change switch. My truck is still sitting in the drive way. Let me know if you found out what works,

    i would check your main fuses for your fuel pumps. If that doesnt work i would look at the lines to the pumps and the switch i beleave that the switch is vaccum opperated.
